NE Strong UPDATE

The Kearney High Boys and Girls Basketball games vs. Lincoln East (originally scheduled for Dec. 11th) that were postponed have been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 19th at KHS.

The City of Kearney Park & Recreation Department is hosting the 3rd Annual Holiday Light Festival at Yanney Park! The Fesival is going right now through Saturday, December 12, 2020! Between 6:00 and 8:30 PM each night, the trees along the walkway from the Peterson Activity Center to the Gottschalk Tower will be lit up by 31 Kearney businesses, service clubs, and organizations.
Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases in the Kearney area, theme nights will not be conducted as originally planned. This adjustment has been made to limit crowding at this event. As a safety measure related to COVID-19, masks and social distancing are recommended for this outdoor event.
Their goal is to make this a fun, family-friendly event, while providing a safe and healthy winter wonderland for all!
