KANE BROWN’S LATEST PROJECT SHOWS ALL SIDES OF HIM

By News Sep 3, 2020 | 6:21 AM

What is the difference between an EP and album?  It is a question I have heard many times. The simple explanation is that EP stands for extended play and usually only contains only 5 to 9 songs, it is sometimes considered the preview to the album.  An album may contain between 12 to 19 songs.

Kane Brown recently released an EP, called Mixtape Vol. 1; featuring seven songs, some that we have already fallen in love with, such as Cool Again, Worldwide Beautiful, and Last Time I Say Sorry with John Legend.

You will also find a beautiful new love song in Worship You (inspired by his wife and daughter), a good old party song in BFE (celebrating small town life), a pop song featuring Swae Lee and Khalid in Be Like That, and finally another upbeat love song in Didn’t Know What Love Was (he didn’t know what love was before his wife and daughter).

Mixtape Vol. 1 is Brown’s first multi-song project since 2018’s Experiment album. To sum it up, you will find a little bit of everything on this EP and you will love every side of Kane Brown.   I have listened to this on repeat and I would recommend it to everyone.  You may find a few new favorites.
