Blue Hill is starting construction on a brand new swimming pool after four years of planning and fundraising, at the site of the old school building. With the location just blocks from the high school, the city plans to utilize the pool for physical education classes. Families who have young children are happy with the safe location, swimming lanes and zero-entry access. The project is just shy of their goal with $325,000 still needed. The pool is anticipated to have a grand opening in May.
