The 36th Annual Cornhusker State Games concluded recently with 6,578 athletes competing in 55 sports. The games embraced a can-do spirit and pushing through this year’s challenges. In doing so, Nebraska achieved a couple very fun “firsts”…one, they became the largest State Games in the nation (not just per-capita, like usual) and two, they had at least one participant from each of Nebraska’s 93 counties!

The Hastings 18th Street YMCA is now fully open and operating under normal hours. The Hastings YMCA is still implementing additional cleaning and safety measures.
