A group of Nebraska players’ parents have released a letter seeking answers from Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren about the postponement of football.

The NCAA’s chief medical officer says the current state of coronavirus testing isn’t sufficient to allow college sports to proceed safely.

A Michigan cardiologist says the Big Ten relied on flawed data when deciding to call off fall football.

In recruiting news;
– Nebraska has received a commitment for 2021 from three-star receiver Kamonte Grimes from Florida.
– Linebacker Will Schweitzer has announced his decommitment from the Huskers’ recruiting class of 2021.
– Punter Daniel Cerni has finally arrived in Lincoln from Australia.

The MIAA has suspended all fall sports until December 31st. The conference hopes to allow teams to resume competition in the spring. Among those affected by the decision is UNK Athletics.

The G-PAC Conference moves forward with its fall sports season. Teams, including Hastings College, were allowed to report for camp last Saturday. First dates of competition are September 5th for volleyball, soccer, cross country, and golf. Football starts September 12th.
