Y102, Tri-Cities Country Music Leader

ScottyO
Program Director/Mornings from 6 to 10
E-mail: scottyo@krny.com

Scotty-O has been infected with the radio "bug" since age five (poor kid...literally!).  He grew up in North "Planet", NE. - graduated from North "Planet" High School.  (Little know fact) Scotty had perfect attendance from K through 12 (that included four concussions and two expulsion attempts by administration...yea, tough Mom).  Scotty began perfecting his "skills" at a local radio station (KODY/KXNP) working as a lackey, at the age of 18.  He is a UNK grad (attendance was far from perfect, by then...damn you Schlitz!) - degree in BS (NO, not broadcasting, just useless info...seriously).  He has been Program Director (GLORIFIED LACKEY) and morning show host since '96 (WOW, that long!).  He has enjoyed sharing the spotlight with 8 hosts (the longest was Billy...5 years; scared the rest away!).  Scotty-O enjoys spending time with his family (wife-Melissa, kiddo's-Korbyn, Kade, Keslea, and Baby Kasey) AND, of course, entertaining you (on the side, he does low-grade balloon animals and MCs soup suppers).

DJ Becci
Morning Co-Host
Y102 Afternoons from 2 to 7
E-Mail: bosborne@nrgmedia.com

DJ Becci, a native of Atkinson,NE and UNK grad, started her Y102 Career as an intern on the then 'Scott and Billy' show. She became versed in answering phones, spinning the Y102 BIG Wheel, and enjoying free breakfast! She joined the Y102 crew full time in the Summer of '09. She is still a master at all of the above and then some! She is an integral part of the top rated ScottyO show from 6 to 10 weekday mornings and then takes you through the rest of your mid-day!

KID CORY
Y102 Mid-Days from 10 to 2pm
Weekends
e-mail:chelie@nrgmedia.com

Conceived in the bathroom at Coney Island in downtown GI, and born at ST. Francis Hospital, Cory has spent many of his years in the "FLY CITIES." Raised in North Planet (just like ScottyO), Cory attended both private and public schooling, which definitely lowers his street cred. After graduation and many failed attempts at Weezer cover bands, Kid Cory decided to give UNK a try where he majors in Mass Media with an emphasis in Broadcasting. Other jobs he brings to the table are ferris wheel operator, night club DJ, sports writer, and filmmaker (Storm Hockey and weddings, and others that can't be mentions because of legal restraints). In his free time Cory loves to watch baseball and make low grade rap tapes. He also likes to watch Saturday Night Live and longboard with his girlfriend. He has high aspirations to be a rich and famous entertainer, who runs for and wins a political office of some sort.
Please cast your vote for Kid Cory in the 2012 mayoral election in your town, and remember to tune to him from 10-2 on Nebraska’s Hot Country Y102.

Kara began her Y102 career as an intern in the Summer of '09. You can catch her helping out on the ScottyO show and on filling in weekends on Y102!

During his tenure at Y102, Dave has won over 15 Nebraska Associated Press Broadcast Awards, and is a former President of the Nebraska AP Broadcasters Board of Directors.
