Hey, friends! As you may already know, October is breast cancer awareness month. Breast cancer got personal for me and my family this year. My cousin Janet was diagnosed with the nasty disease in February and she is currently undergoing treatment.
To support my cousin and the millions of women and men who have been negatively impacted by breast cancer, I’m campaigning with the Relay For Life American Cancer Society’s “Real Men Wear Pink” initiative of Buffalo County to raise awareness and funds.
Will you help me with my campaign? Any donation, small or big, will make a real difference. Donations may be made via this link.
By supporting the American Cancer Society, we are ensuring that no one will walk alone. The Society is committed to helping those currently dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis, those who may face a future diagnosis, and those who may avoid a diagnosis altogether thanks to education and prevention.
The American Cancer Society saves more lives from breast cancer by investing in groundbreaking breast cancer research to better understand, prevent, find, and treat the disease. They are currently funding over $74 million in breast cancer research grants nationwide. The American Cancer Society also provides free, comprehensive information and support to those touched by breast cancer when and where they need it. And, the American Cancer Society helps people take steps to reduce their breast cancer risk or find it early when it’s most treatable.
